DOAC Dosing in Obesity: What Works, What Doesn’t, and What You Need to Know
Apixaban and rivaroxaban are safe and effective for obese patients at standard doses. Dabigatran increases GI bleeding risk. Edoxaban may need monitoring in extreme obesity. Avoid dose escalation and warfarin unless necessary.
